N90 has autofocus,macro and best flash.Its better than any other cameras out there but i dont like the clamshell design

here's a link to some photos taken by the N90 (scroll down). it could be the lighting or the photographer but the photos just don't look natural to me. |

Umm, i dont want to sound pedantic, but have you seen the pictures taken by the N90 that Nokia themselves have supplied the media with ?
Compared to the K750i's they look dreadful, they dont come close to the K750i. 
Thats my opinion anyway, and i have good eye sight.

Maybe im the only one, but can nobody else tell the difference in quality terms between the K750i and N90 ?
I mean, just look at the pictures in full size taken by the N90..

Hey buddies, lets not fool our self ! I mean really, the camera (not even video!) feature is the only thing we can 'compare' the 2 phones ! Well the price may be the other 'feature' to compare if SE don't get it right ;-) Greetings from South Africa. Mario.

Sure, the K750i isnt a smartphone, the N90 is, but they both have 2mp cameras and expandable memory.
In those two areas, especially the camera, the K750i wins easily. Im not saying the N90 is a poor phone, but for such a high tech phone it should have a better camera.

Isn't a bit premature to say who the winner is without even touching any of the phones ? I thing if the cells become available a proper comparission can be done. Does the K750i have a proper flash or just a light like the D500 ? They say the N90 does have a proper flash !

Maybe it is a little premature, but when even Nokia themselves supply us with examples of what the N90 is capable of - the phone professionals, we can clearly see the N90 cannot compete with the K750i.
Im sure this will be proved more so when both phones are released and compared.
The N90 does not have a proper flash, it has like all other phones a simple LED. Nokia will just market it as a flash because it has a photo light which flashes, rather than stays on like every other photo light. I could be wrong, but if that is the case the K750i will have the N90 beat again because it has more than one LED.

Mind you I will prefer a light more in N90's case only because have a full video camera I could use the light for recordings in pup and night clubs :-)

But you can do that with all the SE phones that have a LED too..
.. and have been able to do so with the K700i, S700i and Z800i for a year now..

Do what buddy ? For me video is more important than taking photos. (I am a cop for 15+ years now) I have always dreamed about a poked video camera with a acceptable picture quality.I never thought it would be build in my life time.Now it seems my dream has come true.My old 7650 can also take 'video clips' but the court does not accept them as evidence.The old VHS format is the lowest acceptable quality.Now I can get that plus a cellphone doing all sorts of things (instant messaging etc) in a package of only 170 odd grams ! I guess - welcome to the future -

umm, buddy, the TIPA award is for a camera phone. not necessarily a 'video camera' phone.
i can tell the N90 is going to be perfect for your work, but not everyone will need a cellphone that doubles as a video camera for legal documentation. |
