Not many people have this firmware as it is only flashable by Setool Standalone and EMMA II. (although TMS may get it soon)

I would tell you the change log except i dumped my K700i a few weeks ago

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Possible new menu on the k700i. While messing around I found this menu. Can someone tell me what it would be for?

To access the menu:

* > * < * * <

or

< * * <

Its list is "Personalize" and has something to do with"

MNC2
MNC3
"Its not what you know, its who you steel it from"

That is the service menu - it has been on all SE phones as far as i can remember.

Look in the FAQ and you will see it there

as it is labeled "Service"

This menu is labeled "Personalize"

Yes ok - i over simplified

It is the Sim - Personlize Menu. It has still been on every SEMC phone that i can remember (on all the ones i have had) nothing new there........................

Battery life problems were sorted AGES ago, my k700 lasts up to 5days without a charge[, depends how much i use it.]

Like all software, theres bound to be bugs, but as the k700 has been out for a long time now there are not many bugs left over

You can do that by taking your phone to a service or using a sync-station (which you have to buy).

I'm using R2AL029 rite now, using davinci server to update (finalization take care of the shutter sound, so now no shutter in slient mode)

well i've notice the following differences:
- faster overall (menu, java)
- better reception/voice quality
- slightly better camera picture quality
- time and date font and color seem to change slightly
- faster transfer using infrared/cable
- well i'm using DSS-25 to transfer mp3 into the phone, using K700 Dateimanager (available at http://k700.hitziger.net) and with R2AE033 the transfer rate is 8.5-8.9kb/s. But with this version I can get 10.0-10.3kb/s (sorry don't have chance to try BT transfer but i expect improvement too)
- and of course very stable, same as R2AE033

note: for people complaining about the speed of SE's file transfer this program can use almost the full potential of cables and way faster (better then FMA too~)

@newumbrella418

Did you notice that the color of the shadow for icons in dialogs have changed from dark grey to very light grey? (Or is it just my flash that is messed up?) Try to change profile and see the icon that appears in the window to tell you the new profile is active... is there a change of the shadow color compared to your earlier firmware? I think this new light grey shadow looks bad - real bad! Kind of like something is wrong with the firmware. I even re-flashed with the same result, so it's probably this new firmware that has changed and is supposed to look like this... please confirm!
