@Jig: best of luck@ I hope you find what you like
Though did you consider buying a regular Nokia (say a 3310 or something), and getting a gold Plated cover with Platinum plated keys (or whatever you like) Made at your local Jewellers? It may work out cheaper. Infact, you should get in touch with Mark Morrow, I remember he did some Plated Stylii a while back, He may have some idea as to who to contact.

Getting the coated fascia's is a good idea, but I really want to have the real McCoy for the feel of how well the phone is built.
@ Mike: I have sold the Audi TT so im back to my Oyster card now, so you can chauffeur my bus/trains if you like though! |

Right guys I have finally found a Vertu Ascent. Does anyone know if it will work with a "3" sim card, seeing as it uses O2's network as a platform.

I doubt it very much, the phone needs extra hardware to be able to cope with 3 .. 3 only uses O2 if the user is out of area and it "downgrades" the service to be able to do it.

It wont because the USIM has 3 frequencies and the vertue has only 2. So you will need to either got on 02...but most if the new usim from 3 dont work with 2g phones anymore.
