It does have a sharp edge. I remember someone mentioning that in a review when the phone came out. That's why I use a headset.
OK, that's not why. But it's a solution. Another solution is to turn up the volume and then not press it into your ear so hard when you're talking... |

Most of you using k700 that don't notice this problem probably dont make & receive calls often or you got rigid ears
BTW I've found a solution to this nagging problem eh eh eh!
I've used a nail file to file off the top edges and smoothened it to a fine finish.
It's a lot better now, I probably wont have to sell it yet...
thanks to JN's suggestion.
hmmm! i'm left with the poor battery life now, any solutions? |

Are you serious? I wonder how your phone looks like now. Can you post a pic?
resistance is futile. |

If you feel more comfortable with it now then that's great.

Well I still don't understand what could hurt with the part you've "taken care of" (poor k700i! ) but if you're pleased with it now...

the corners were SOOooo sharp b4,
&
the straight sharp line running across the top above the speaker was always poking my ears.
I've gottten rid of all that with the nail file.
The t610 is much more streamlined and the material is more ear friendly...
compare the 2 and you'll understand what i'm tryin to say. |

I see what you mean about the sharp edge, but really all you needed to do was learn to hold the phone flat to your ear and not at an angle.
Who'd buy an abused K700 !? |
