We can also teach it "Pentaamineisothiocyantochromiumtetrachlorozincate" this is a chemical compound. But we are looking for inbuilt ones. ;-)

i believe the longest proper word in the english language is antidisestablishmentarianism (spelling?)
if someone could check a dictionary and if t9 knows it thatll sort this thread out!! [addsig]

did you check the spelling in a proper dictionary first? the last part of the word may be spelt wrong!! [addsig]

I'm pretty sure the word is spelt 'antidestablishmentarianism' - but don't quote me on it !!

It's spelt:

Antidisestablishmentarianism

And here's what it means....

Antidisestablishmentarianism is a political philosophy that is opposed to the separation of church and state. The term was used to denote opposition to the disestablishment of the Church of England. The word is most often used as an example of the longest English word that has an actual meaning.


.. and it's not in the t9 dictionary.
