Dont u think the price is too steep considering that there are only cosmetic changes ??? Can K500i receive calls when connected to the PC as a modem via a data cable ?? |

I don't think it can stay connected via gprs when a call comes in.

Are u sure? Bcos when using my T630 as a bluetooth modem sometimes call comes in but sometimes it does not ?? which makes it a irritating issue for me  |

You have the option to bar calls in the T630 while browsin thru gprs don't you? (I think We're goin off topic here! )

what is the color of keypad backlight in K508i ?? Someone has mentioned as light purplish white as T630 is it true |

I've got a 508i. and where I am (singapore) the 508 is actually slightly cheaper than the 500i.
No diff b/w the 2 phones in terms of function, so its all ergonomics and aesthetics. Go to the stall, hold both, look at yourself with either in the mirror, and try keying in an sms or something.
Btw the keypad's backlight is still (the ugly) orange.
The multi-char search etc that is dependent on firmware, which both k500i and k508i share. Will just have to get it flashed at your nearest centre i guess... ") |
