I knew it was going to be long, so I dialed the toll-free number that bills a call on your land-line bill.
I rarely call for longer than 3 minutes, mostly it is under a minute. Most calls worldwide on cellphones are under a minute. That's why operators usually charge the first minute even if you call for a few seconds.

The longest call I made was a little over 2 hours. I was flirting with this lady that I didn't realise that the call was already that long. I used up my monthly free minutes in just one call.

I dunno about times, but to the question of phone bills.
I've gone back to prepaid. I used to work for Optus, and my bill for that 3 weeks at optus was $788.45!
Average per month was usually about $150 - $180.
Most expensive call I have ever seen on my bill, Telstra mobile calling Vodafone New Zealand mobile for 1 hour 20mins at $93!
Never call there again from my phone!

looks like im up there at the top so far....ma longest ever call was roughly 8.5 hours....to a girl i really liked...we spoke from around 9pm to about 5.30am....it was on PAYG aswell but it was like 2p a minute or something
