ok i'll be the first then
IMO design, its good but not really that good like the T610 was.
featurewize it looks great, so many things in a small device.

i wonder what kind of battery it uses and how long it lasts.

@bart
Standby 460 hours
Talktime 140 mins
Of course there's always room for improvements.
I would like to see it in some more live colous when it arrives here.
But if you look back in the posts, I dodn't remember any other new SE phone having so much positive responses.

I am not sure I like the rear of the handset.

It doesn't seem to be designed by the same person who designed the front. The rest is cool though.

@Semo What optimism! I noticed you said "when it arrives here" and not "if it arrives here". Is there something you're not telling us?

Seeing that we didn't get the first premini I don't see that we're going to be any luckier this time. This fone is great and would be a best seller against any competition. Seeing that yhe Clara has a 220x176 screen we'll be lucky to get something like this in 2006 and our version would probably have a joystick.
Maybe Japan should invade the world then we'd all be Japan and wouldn't have to worry about getting these nice fones.

@Bart. They certainly did do a good job of keeping this quiet But not so the Clara.

I wonder what SE has up its sleeve next...

I may get ripped for this but I don't think it looks like a Japanese design at all. Like someone else said, Clamshells dominate in Japan.

This however, if it wasn't for the Kanji on the keypad, I would swear it was more Siemens than SE. Maybe it is the straight lines and industrial look of the design I don't know.

@Bart Definitely high-end as far as costs are concerned. I would expect to pay around £380 - 400 for this marvel.

We may see Japanese mobiles being available to overseas markets as UMTS spreads.

I love the black one. Please SE, make an international model that looks as good as this. After seeing the premini II i have to say, SE can do alot better than the current international phones they produce. I hope the rumour that SE is concentrating on low end phones is not true.

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES
