I think you mean first three characters
IMO, the most significant difference is the physical profile (candybar vs. swivel) -- others are basically improvements.

Yes blackspot, thats what i though.
But there doesn't seem to be a big difference in price between the two. |

The major difference between the P910 and the S700 is that the latter doesn't have a touchscreen and its not symbian either. The P910 is aimed at the businessman on the move while the S700 is more of a gizmo type phone.

Is that a technical term?

"The only major features that the S700i has over the K700i is the bigger screen, 1.3 MP camera and the support for memory sticks."
The only? what do peeps expect the S700 should have? isnt a bigger and better scratchproof screen, unlimited memory and a much better camera with lensprotection enough? maybe a tv or a 6,6 MP camera or a swiss army knife?
This was a little bit ironic but hey, there not many phones out there better than S700 right now. So I cant understand these comments I see all the time in esato.

S700 has a 2.3 inch screen 262TFT colour screen, "Swivel" design.
K700 has a smaller screen, 65K normal colour, normal "candy bar" design.
S700 - Really expensive..
K700 - A bit cheaper but it's still expensive =P
S700 - expandable memory card (128MB max.)
K700 - Only internal memory |

S7 and k7's OS are the same.
And aside from the above mentioned differences...
Here in the Phil, prices are dropping for both phones. However, I noticed that I don't see alot of s7 anymore, rumor has it the SE stopped producing the handset. Any of you guys know if this is true and why?
And of course, the controversial "S700" does not have the clock screen saver thing.

@salisbury_steak: yes, i've heard that there is a website that says the S700i is already discontinued in production. that means, the phone could be a classic. glad i got one. it's built solidly, the only problem i'm experiencing is that my thumb gets numb in pressing the keys while the phone is closed.
as for the differences, i used to own a K700i before, but i own an S700i now, and aside for the mentioned differences, i can tell that the S700i is more sturdy and better in build quality than the K700i
