Krubach:

Price & date of release of 3230 is from nokia web site.
it is a 3*** phone, so the price should be that range.

SE Rules

Symbian/Series60 allows u to install native 3rd party software (much more powerful than Java program). Basically it is a smartphone just like P900 except for touchscreen. To get a feel of what type of software (there are many) are available, u can visit handango.com or my-symbian.com.

Looks very familiar. Doesn't look like a typical Nokia.
resistance is futile.

3230 is the smallest series 60 phone at this moment. And you can check the spec, the size and function are really attractive. And he you were worried about the camera quality, find some 6630 reviews and I think most of you will change your mind. Although it is CMOS, the quality is impressive!

About how good is Series 60 platform, you can download a s60 phone user manual like 6600, 3650, etc, to see whether you will be addicted like me.

Is it possible to put in a new memorystick in this 3230? (To become more memory I mean - this was the only thing that kept me from buying the K700i...)

The 3230 will beat SE S700, I felt the s700 was always overpriced.
This phone at a lesser price would be able to :

- Edit Word/Excel documents (Using QuickOffice)
- Play High Quality S60 games
- Play Streaming Videos (not sure if s700 can or not)
- Surf REAL internet pages, with Flash etc. (Using Opera)
- View E-Mails(With Attachments etc.)

SE has no competition for this baby.

hi Everybody, my 2 cents.

looks nice on paper but will have users screaming about how it feels like in real life, can anyone here remember how uncomfortable it was to work with a 6600 and this one looks worse in the ergonomics department. it will sell like hot cakes though, and it and yes it will compete directly with the S700i because of the 1.3 mp camera, marketing and the likes not the technical differerences.

BUT remember the rumors going around are that SE are releasing 2 new smartphones which makes sense to me
1, obviously the true upgrade to the p900 with wifi and 1.3 or 2 mp cam.
2, A small smartphone more than likely running the new softkey version of uiq3 which will compete directly with series 60.

I really hope the p1000 looks similar to the ericsson in the bond film where he drives the 7 series car. but with landscape and portrait views a full twisting body.

Any Comments?

Nokia has made a in 3230
I like that

After Ericsson copying Nokia designs, it seems Nokia is now fighting back, finally

6020 is a typical Nokia design, which does not look like T630, but much like 6230 and other 3 series released in Asia.
