i am sure i read on here a month or two back that se said there will be no more new t-series phones.
personally i think that the t-series should have been discontinued with the t65, for me the t-series was about the flip over the buttons. the t65, 68/i etc should have had a different letter.

Se launched k700, according the nr 700, maybe the k is the next line, cos t630 was the last of t series. Or will they launch t700 aswell? Or maybe t, k, z and s series are diff lines for diff user groups?

The question still is, what do they mean with 'discontinue'.
My guess is that it means they will not start new production batches anymore, so that the current manufacturing contracts will be the last. And that they will stop working on the FW etc. For me, that is discontinuing a product. If that is true it means that there might still appear new units on the market for some time from the last batches, like happened with other models (I think).
Just what I think.
On the website of SE in the portfolio they go back to the T200 and T68 by the way.
Edit: Add: You can still buy a new Nokia 3310. A lot of people still want that phone because it is the only one of which they know it will "just do what i want it to without any fuss".
And: Will this cause a final sale of the t/z6--?

:se: discontinue the production becoz they want to reduce mfng. cost, so they can produce more advance model. As we know that they r competetiveness in mobile industries.

i really loved the t series personally,
few good things about them
1. tiny form factor
2. great value for money (more features than other phones available for that price.)
4. extremely eye catching design.

Same thoughts here, i would do miss it aswell. However the k serie has some in it from the t serie, but far away of my taste. Even i got used for the model name.

Yeah I agree. The K700 never really 'grabbed my attention' like the T610 did, I think it was the eye-catching radical design of the T610 that did it.
Having had mine for 9 months I have replaced the shell cover once and have another spare because I always want it to look perfect (I am in love I think), because I think the design is timeless. I will be sorry if they ceased production.

well, according to krusell, the top selling phones this month are,
1. (1) Sony Ericsson T630/628/610/637
2. (3) Sony Ericsson K700i
3. (4) Nokia 6230
4. (-) Nokia 5140
5. (8) Nokia 7610
6. (7) PalmOne Treo 600
7. (10) Siemens M65
8. (9) Nokia 6610i/7250/7250i
9. (5) Nokia 3510
10. (-) Nokia 6620/6600
( )= last months position.
so I really wonder why want to stop the phones when they are doing so well.
