A color screen BY ITSELF is useless. What is important are the features that utilize it.

After reading all the reply I found that we must be objective when commenting a particular phone. And I think peteribrahim should not cos a stir in the forum by asking the loyal fans of t68 to comment on his swap to T100. If he is interested in the swap, he should post his question over in the samsung forum.
And some guys out there should not comment or insult T68 users as you have all the rights not to visit this forum.
I am very sure T68 is not the perfect phone to a lot of ppl out there but it is the best phone to the ppl in this forum so please do not disturb this little corner for the T68. |

Boy, jess_strawberry, too much democracy is something that gets into your nerves, right?

Thats the most absolutely stupid idea ever. If your idea of 'causing a stir' is simply posting a rational message about considering getting another phone, without even slating the T68 off, you're pretty narrow minded and just completely abandoning the whole concept of free speech. We can speak freely here without having to resort to singing the T68's praises every other line you know, and I said nothing derogatory here. I made a post simply looking for balanced information, and as a lot of people on this board know what they're talking about, figured this was as good a place as any to get a comparison and opinions, and will continue to do so.
Cheers

Not really, this forum is a place where many members just convince themselves that their mobiles' are the best and everything else is rubbish - Its a sonyericsson fan website at times and dont not offer a neutral view of products and is often bias towards SE, especially the T68i. |

I don't think what I have said is stupid cos the real fool is the one whom don't even have the least ideal of what he wants. Before I bought my t68, I did a lot of research on myself and after reading some comments here I decided to get it. You don't seem to support free speech at all since you started calling me a stupid. You can post as much as you like but once you stop owning a t68 I don't see a point in you staying in this forum!
And I would like to correct you on the fact that I never demand you to sing praise but should have voice out when the discussion started to heat up. Instead you only voice out when I mention your name.
Nobody wants to pick up a fight but it just so annoying when some guys out there start twisting the facts and you didn't step forward to correct them as you are also a t68 owner.

Objective opinion:
T68i is triband, whereas T100 dualband
T68i is 88g, T100 is 94g
T68i has 256 colours, but the T100 has 4096
T100 is smaller, but bigger when open
T68i has the joystick, while the T100 just has keys...
T100 has the wonderful sounds, while the T68 just has retarded beeps...
T68 has GPRS and an infrared port... while T100 has 28.8kps data transfer....
T68 has more games
T68 has Bluetooth
T68 has a better battery performance
T68 has MMS and EMS
...
Basically the T100 has a beautiful screen with nice ringtones, the T68 has all the functions of every mobile on earth on one phone and if you use the T68 with the MCA-20, then I'm sorry but T100 doesn't stand a chance.....
Hope you all enjoyed my review of both phones
I tried to keep it as objective as possible, hope I didn't offend anyone if so, it was not my intention....

Jess, I can't be arsed to get into a slanging match, so I'll simply make a couple of points. I didn't call you stupid, I called your idea stupid, and I do believe it was you who first seemed to banish the notion of free speech by informing me I shouldn't be posting here.
I read what people had to say. A lot of people put forward several reasonable opinions. You on the other hand seemed to hate the very notion of talk of other phones.
I too also researched the phone before it came out. I bought it when at the time, it was the phone I chose best for me. Now, at a later period of time, and new phones are on the market, I no longer feel its what I need. Don't lecture me on rushing into a product or making a daft decision, I've not done anything of the sort.
Thanks for all the reasoned opinions and comparisons. Its mainly the screen and flip-top that are swaying me at the mo, I'm fed up trying to protect my T68's screen. The S100 and V100 (support Java and MPEG-4 respectively, not out yet) also look pretty good, the S100 probably being the mose useful of the two... |

arroyootje> you are right. You have my support.
I just don't understand why some of the guys out there just seem to hate us for loving our T68!???
I think when you have a gf or bf you won't enjoy rumours about them.
I will stop coming to this topic from now on after making clear of my view. |

Thanks guys, what I was trying to point out is that they're both great phones, if you prefer the great colours and sound and a flip then get a T100, but if you prefer MMS, functions and nice slow T9 then get a T68

it's a fact, the t68 & t68i are superior phones at the moment. i see no phone out there with the fully packed features that the t68 & t68i's have.
