Nowadays im using a combination of t39m and palm t2. I need a tiny phone and a bigger screen. Who will manufacture a pda-phone where the little phone is like a tiny satellite and could takeaway at once like the mca or chatboard?

I wish SE would reintroduce the battery status indicator. My T68i will display the amount of remaining battery time I have left and I found this to be very useful indeed, it's a shame that later SE mobiles don't have this feature. I suppose it would be possible to implement it in a firmware upgrade.

I hope will be more quality oriented in development and production of thier upcoming models. The k700i is still a great phone but its the most bugfull phone fw and hardware wise! I really dont blame the people who traded/sold their k7....but I still love my k7 and

@kenski

The K700 does seem to have quite a few bugs, I wonder if that was perhaps more a result of rushing to get the K700 on sale.

I've said it before and I will say it again; virtual keyboard in the P1000.

I wish SE would make something like a K750i which has all K700 features but improved as follows:
1. 128MB internal Memory
2. support for external memory up to 1GB
3. at least 1.3 MP camera like S700
4. a real functional flash
5. fixed all known bugs in K700
6. Birthday/Anniversary in calendar
7. user customizable SMS tone
8. consumes less power (make battery last longer)
9. lens cover like K500
10. support for full screen video/picture viewing
There's actually more but this will do for now.
resistance is futile.

@blackspot

What about adding an optical zoom to your list?

@scotsboyuk you're absolutely right!
Damn, why didn't I think of that?

11. at least 2x optical zoom
resistance is futile.

my teacher has an O2 xdaII palm thingy and it has a little blue light on the top which tells you if bluetooth is activated, this could be good on the k700i, and also the ability to be discoverable with bluetooth.

i think the main problem in india is pricing i suggest they introduce smart symbian phones in a price range of 15000 - 25000 indian rupees and secondly bring a succesor to k700i with expandable memory slot and high res camera even a 1.0megapixel will do ringtones for messages and bluetooth area coverage of 100 metres

@aquablade90210

The S700 has those features that you mention in talking about a K700 successor.

@all

Customisable SMS tones seem to be the most popular request.
