It doesnt matter if you see another username/person in a Nokia forum or any other forum..who cares?!
I, personally, joined Mobile 9 for the fact that there is very good ThemeMaking support there and competitions etc. if any of us bought a Nokia and joined a Nokia forum...who cares?! i dont!
Yes, you may see them in other forums, but it doesnt really make any difference. People have their choices and will do what they want.

now I obviously cannot speak for anybody else... but if you come across 'Vlammetje' on the nokia developers forum, that is indeed me 
But suppose you were to find out all of the above are mebers of a nokia forum.... explain to me just how exactly that would change anything.

I personally can't see a problem at all either with folk joining forums for other manufactuers - I quite like the look of some of the new Nokias, like their ruggedised 5140 (except it still uses that damed 4,096 colour screen!) or the 6170 flip phone looks nice too.
Although Esato's an excellent forum, there is life outside of it, and that includes joining other forums
