sony ericsson will call me and say some magic word i guess ,....Abra Ka Dabra...' and vroom there it will start u mean ? or do they send me some code or file to download ? grrrrrrr....... SE please dont make such mistakes again and wht no shuld i call them on? u mean the service centre ?? ... |

and also log in a complaint at global support site .. in the net. they will too ask ur number.. give them.
no abracadabra.. just plain scoldings will do..

hey guess what i just sent an mms now to myself to check my phones slow reflex and intelligence as i had fed my number in the cell, and bingo it shows the mms from my number ... wow this phone is intelligently slow and takes time to think i guess ? but why after sooo many days this change .. i am afraid now as though the phone is possessed or something ... thanks anyways for all the help guys , patience is next to godliness thx again |

I'm sure this has something to do with networks tweaking up their settings

u a moderator or wht u online full time here? Amazing ur patience is more than the sony k700i anyways how did u predict the behaviour of the phone ? u r a dude man.. I am from mumbai india and one of my friends has a problem wth his k700i too .. his problem is wth the phonebook when he scrols the names it shows the same no in the next name too ?? funny though ? any guesses or its a ghost story again? |

yup. i am from india. btw i am a software engineer.. but in the process of shifting to another firm.. got some free time these days.
btw, it so happens that when u transfer ur contacts from the sim card.. it may put some duplicate entries.. otherwise it shouldnt show those ambiguous entries..
i hve been toying with this marvel for 3 weeks now.. even after all these hiccups.. i say k700i is unbeatable and class apart in its class..

this unknown sender problem isnt wholly SE's fault..cos i didnt have any problem like that with airtel. It showed both name and number. |

Yeah hutch - se compatibility issues. Just like 6600 gprs compatibility issue when it was launched

sounds like youve got a block on your phone. Enter *#30# on the standby screen and call it, this should display the number and it can also stop prank calls on some phones |

when i had the first R2AA firmware it use to show me unkown sender
den when i switched to R2L it shows the name
