My little Wish-list to SE:
1/ In Calls menu -> when dialing/receiving/missing a call from one and the same person the phone stores only the last call with time and date stamp (exeption to this is the missed call - you get to see how many missed calls you have from this particular person, but no time at all - only date of the last call)
e.g. John calls today and I talk to him at 10:14, 11:23 and 14:01 on July, 29th
in the received calls I get just one record - John 29/07 14:01 so I don't know how many times I've talked to him (today/yesterday etc.) or when (just the last call)
When I miss calls from John at 10:14, 11:23 and 14:01 on July, 29th
in the missed calls I get just one record - John 29/07 (3) - NO TIME AT ALL EVEN OF THE LAST MISSED CALL (
PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS
2/ Add recurring alarm for entries in the Organizer (the weekly recurring alarms are not enough, if you want to remember a birthday, or monthly payments, etc.)
Overall it's a great phone, just fix this please...

I got a problem with my K700i, the menus disappeared from time to time....dont know why but when I restart the phone it works fine and this is happening atleast once a day. apart from this if SE claims that the talktime is 7 hrs. why the hell it gives only 2 to 3 hrs. max and still not lasts even for a day????

@ vineet..Although my phone has uptill now not faced the menu problem..but My friends phone did...! I changed his theme back to waip and its been 20 days and Menu Problem is history...
I suggest that you wait for the new firmware R3A to be out in a few days and to change the theme back to waip(default)..
Ps.Try swapping some data from your phone back into the PC..as at times large use of memory causes these errors..

Although the time of call isn't listed in the missed calls list, i think it is listed in the All Calls list, with a red arrow next to it.
I have a request of my own. At the moment if I wish to use the loudspeaker during a call I have to listen and wait until the call is answered, then I have to select the joystick button and fumble through the menu to reach the option of switching to loudspeaker. This is a very dangerous operation to perform while driving. All the while, the person on the other end of the phone has answered the phone to the sounds of clicking buttons and screams of "Hold on,.... just putting on loudspeaker... hold on". It would be very simple to assign one button (or quick combination) that made it possible to start a phonecall in loudspeaker mode. I briefly had a Nokia 6230 and the best thing about this phone in my opinion was its implementation of the loudspeaker function such that a button was specifically assigned to starting the dialing process, or answering a call, with the loudspeaker turned on. This meant that the phone was a fully functional handsfree device in itself, and didn't require extraneous equipment to be UK road legal.
Please SE, this is such a simple request and one that I believe has not been touched upon by many people here.
Also.... I would much appreciate a small key symbol of some kind next to the clock on the screensaver to show the status of the keypad lock. At the moment, in order to find out if the keypad is locked you have to take the phone out of "standby" and then wait for it to go back... wasting valuable battery and time. Just give us an icon like the one for an awaiting new text message, which appears just above the clock.
Two simple and easy to implement requests. Take them on board and make me perfectly happy with my phone.
Thank you kindly. |

Hello there,
I've read this forum since I was looking for fellow K700-owners who are also facing some "remarkable" issues.
I'm having a K700 for 2 days now, and this is what I noticed:
- It looks like the K700 eats it's battery like a nice loaf of meat. A 2nd full charge in 2 days isn't really what I expected.
- Some SMS-messages seam to disappear while I didn't remove them manually. The messages that are dissappeared, are from 2 different persons
- For some reason one name from the phonebook isn't being displayed in the Inbox or Send Items (I don't exactly know how they are called in English; I'm having a Dutch one) when I send or receive a message to/from one particular contact.
- I expected that the K700 can store at least as much SMS messages as the T630, but it seems like it doesn't.
My english isn't so good anymore, so sorry for the mistakes. (although I find it quite good from myself, hehehe)

In the SMS reports should appear the delivery hour cause if you send a message and the person just receive it let's say 2 hours later the hour that appears in the sms is the hour when you send it and not the hour when the message is really delivered...
Should by a way to set a shortcut to the camara flash light cause the flash it's very usefull as just normal light |
