I think what we are holding in our hands is one if not the best phone out in the market today. And please to other forumers who complain about their T68 or T39 and trying to compare their phone with nokia..... please there is no comparison, you can't compare a diamond ( ericsson ) to a horse shit ( nokia ). I should know since for 14 years now I been duped into buying nokia phones coz of their changeable faceplate, small size and user friendly interface. but haven't you wondered nokia is just selling you gimmicks! They will release a lot of phones with a span of only a month or so with the features not found in every phone. What I mean is they try to put one feature to one phone and one feature to another phone while ericsson gave us a phone with unlimited potentials, all the gimmicks are there for you to tinker. No more buying a separate phone for its feature. So let's face it what we have is the BEST PHONE.
and siemens..... don't make me laugh!
alcatel ..... sorry, no time to waste
sendo .... sendo what?????
motorola..... opps I thought it was already obsolete!!
So for all you guys who have a problem with your ericsson, think for a moment maybe there is something that is so simple procedure you just miss to do. If not, check this great site, someone is always willing to help you ( that's what make this site GREAT!!! ) AND LASTLY IF ALL FAIL, YOU CAN HAVE IT FIX AT ERICSSON SERVICE POINT AND MAYBE UPGRADE IT.

I don’t agree with you, especially about Siemens ! Have you once used a Siemens ? I’m using mobile phone since more than 10 years, and I was really an Ericsson fan ! I had a GH 337, GF 337, GF 388, GF 788, T 18s... and then a Siemens S35i ! And you can definitely not compare the Siemens with any Ericsson before the T68, because the Siemens was far in advance in term of features !! Today, except for the color screen and Bluetooth, I think the Siemens 45 series is still in advance compare to Ericsson... (integrated MP3, more fields in the address book, 1000 entries in the address book... and a much better way to use T9...)
Now, I own a really nice grey T68, working perfectly with software R1C, with a lot more features than my old S35i, a beautiful color screen, but so slooooooooooow and so unpleasant when I have to write a SMS...
Anyway, I still like my T68 a lot... but I’m a little bit impatient to see what will happen with R2...

My T68 uses software R1C, the only thing to complain about is the slow typing in T9. Hopefuly this will be improved in software R2. My fathers T39 was R2J, and now it is R3A, and typing speed id improved!
