ya.. just looked at this and you need the standalone fileman application which has an option to view hidden/system files.
The standard SE one with the p900 doesnt support this (so you can't break it).
Try the trial at:

Hi chingwa14,
Sorry about the outburst. I had a bad day yesterday with this idiot calling my line at odd hours. Damn, he woke me up at 6.30 am this morning!!! I feel like murdering him!!! Now I have to switch off my phone or it will keep on ringing non stop. I wonder if there is a way to ban selective incoming calls? Anyone who knows please teach me how. Many thanks!!!
Cheers,

yes you can do that...
go to the phone tab > edit > preferences > choose from the list of accepted callers.

Thank you very much, pninehundred. Exactly what I was looking for. You really save my day.

Sometimes it would be easier to ban some numbers (something like "forbidden callers") than to make "accepted callers" list, don't you agree?!
Unfortunately I haven't found the way to do this!

Yeah, I agree. In fact I believe some phones do have this function. It is called 'ban calls' or something like that and you just need to list out the nos. which you want to ban. I am quite surprised that SE has overlooked this point.
Now all I can do is to set the phone to only accept calls from my contact list. A draw back is, if the call comes from overseas, it will be banned too. But *sigh* what can I do? That idiot is still flooding my line. In fact his first call was at 5 plus this morning. UUUUrgh! I think I can strangle him!!!
P/S: Though the calls can't get thru, the phone actually provides you with a list of these calls. |

I think this feature of accepted call list is cool...
i can list down the nos which i do not want to accept calls from.
they can still call me but my phone wont ring and at the same time i can still know if they are trying to call me from the call log. |

Try Advanced Call Manager. You can black list certain numbers as what u decribed. Remember that it only works on line 1 if you have alternate line service. |

@Anissa Low
Is the number that calls you displayed? Maybe you could complain to your operator for harassment? It works in my country!

Advance Call Manager sounds interesting but I have the same question: where do you find it?!
@Boki71: Oh, that's cool! I didn't know there is such a service provided. Guess I should give them a call so that I can have his no. ban cos it's really inconvenience when I used the 'accept calls from contact list only' function as I will also miss those oversea calls. And worse, these calls have no nos. displayed so I won't know who to return calls to.
@Chingwa: When you do a backup, they will ask you if you want to back up the phone memory or card memory. If you choose to backup the phone memory, they will automatically return to your phone memory when you do a restore. Everything included your contacts, sms etc. will be restored. |
