Because "spoilt" sounds quite a lot better than "really used n worn n shit" 
I had a T610 for a while, the joystick stopped working properly after a few months - it would go inwards whenever you pressed upwards, which was really annoying. I've got a K700i now, but the joystick on that has just started to become unresponsive when you push it in as well. | |

My joystick still works fine after 398785 moves, only yhe fw that is kinda slow.
There was a time thoug, when it would not go left, & when you press down it would type 3!!! WTF?
