Hi Darkness, thanks for the PM. Nice to know your dislike of europeans, but maybe thats something you should have posted in the thread?
My reply to you was regarding Ericsson and Sony, two companies, nothing to do with nationalities...
Sad... |

i would soon like to see a device by SE which can beat Nokia 6600. I know P900 is there but price wise also i mean with a key pad and not touch screen |

hi jason, sorry that you misunderstood my PM to you a lot. i did not put anything that i disliked europeans now did I? i did not specifically say that correct? i don't want lenghten this thread any further for for me this is enough. you're just in denial the fact that it was sony that made that a lot more contribution to the partnership. to proud huh?
oh and if you think that i dislike europeans, hell i don't care. you willed it man. END

Right. T68 was pure Ericsson as well. Also successful T610 design was made by a swedish designer.
Ericsson realized what they did wrong, but it was little too late...
On the other hand remember Sony phones before the partnership. They sucked big time.

wrong, the designer of the t610 is a japanese. have'nt you read that in a post weeks ago asking who designed the phone. only a japanese can design something that simple and clean for it is a part of their culture to simplify things including design concepts.
the t68 is purely ericsson for at that time they have not formed an axis alliance yet.
sony phones sucks as well as ericsson at that time? a japanese is the boss of SE and and not an ericsson hot shot who orders ericsson personnel around. oh well you're a swede so love your own huh.

It is true that the designer of T610 is a swedish guy named Erik Ahlgren. Sony Ericsson uses designers from different countries with different backgrounds. For instance the Z1010 is designed by a french woman.
Did you now there are two people in Sweden actually named Sony Ericsson? |

"Aluminium panels, anodised with colour themes that resemble the elements of nature, caught between darkness and light." It's not hard to see why Industrial Designer Erik Ahlgren gets almost poetic about the T610. But what does the T610's highly individual design idiom say to you?
Have Erik and the design team succeeded in creating a design that measures up to the impressive features of the T610? Well, take a look and judge for yourself.

The designer is swedish...end of story! Can we talk about something more important, like the pressconference on the 9th of march?! |

Actually Sony invested a shit into SE. Its still 99% Ericsson if you ask me.
Sony just funds the joint-venture and wants to see early profits. All technical and design matters are still in the hands of the swedes. And its good the way it is.
It's a pity E/// wasn't stable enough to endure the restructuring of the mobile phone business itself but needed an external partner for that.
Ah, well..
cheers,

Hi Guys,
this is my first post but while looking for info on the new T650 I found these pictures on a Chinese Website. Having read various descriptions of this new phone in the forums I noticed that this handset had a different camera lens from the T630 and also seemed to have a larger screen. What do you think?

Opps. sorry. I have taken them down. Looks like I have a lot to learn on Esato. The pictures were really not that difficult to find. I am really saving myself for the Z1010 anyway as it looks like a real box of tricks..... |

jack00 the conference will be held on tuesday in several cities around the world but i'm not sure if they will start at the same time because michael @ mobileburn is going to the one in new york and i think he told me it was at 12:00am and i am going to the one in madrid and it's also at 12:00am; that's 7 hours before.
btw: why is this thread in the rumours forum?

the phones that sony made before the partnership were brillliant! definatly the side of SE that has my brand loyalty! the J5 was way way before its time! one of the first phones to have polyphonic ringtones, loud speaker and e-mail access. it also had 4 grey scale lcd display. all at a price less than nokias 3330! fantastic!
also the designer of the p900 is the same guy who designed the sony J6. i'm not sure about the T610 though. |

I agree. Only thing for SE phones which comes from Sony is games. Cellphone knowhow comes from Ericsson. Couple years ago, when i heard news that Ericsson and Sony will found new mobilephone company i was surpriced and ask myself: what Sony will bring to the company?. I think that Ericsson alone could made this kind of phonemodels, it not needed Sonys help. |

Coming back to the main topic, does anyone know at what time will the conference be held?
