If You wanna grab the pictures from a Theme,..then download theme to pc,...rename theme to .tar,...now You can open it with a zip-program,..and see the thm.file and pictures

About the "death" Theme,..I think this one is a zip-file, not a thm.file.
That means you would have to rename it to .thm

When I create Themes in Theme Editor, I always use the same names for the pictures,..and always the same number of letters in the gif-name.

I use these :

xxxxxxxx.gif (background-image, could be named anything, but still 8 letters in the gif name !)

backgrou.gif (desktop background image,..still 8 letters)

titlemed.gif (medium size title image,..8 letters)

titlesma.gif (small size title image,..8 letters)

This is just to be on the safe side,..and it works with all the themes I did

ok jan!

But how to rename the death file? if I put .thm in the end of it, it still remains a zip-file..

I also had problems with the death file.
I DID try to rename it death.thm - but it would stille remain a .xml file.

I gave up - and instead I opened it in notepad - I then opened the theme editor and simply copy and pasted all the color codes to the editor - voila - now I got the theme in my phone.
I actually like this theme.

Skjalg,..You could do as Claus did.

Another way is to extract/unzip the files into a folder,..then create a new zip-file,..and then rename.
This requires that the zip-program can use Tar-files.

But its faster to do as Claus did, hehe. And much easier too

If you use win2k or winXP you can just rightclick the file and choose sendto -> IR.

If you can't use the OS build in app to handle IR you can try christersson.org's sendfile app.

I use winXP, left click on file, but how/where do i send -> IR?
