agile messenger & tipicME not working on PH networks? |

Everytime I am in Manila - photo shoot, (Oh how I just love the beaches there - Palawan, Sicogon, Boracay (best) and Puerto Galera.) I always use the Smart sim card very reliable as often as I need it, using my Nokia 7250 cellphone.

agile & tipic will work on globe if u use the apn: lnternet.globe.com.ph
right now we are using apn: www.globe.com.ph w/c limit us to few sites..
y dont u guys join us on our eb tom... check EB topic

@rowena, no it didn't work on my P800 either under Smart's network. AT home I can use it thru my bluetooth but hassle pa din kasi my laptop needs to be connected to the net to use it. |

thank you for the info, steele. i have an msn & icq accoumt but they wouldnt work on smart. i'll try it on globe. i'm afraid i have to consider upgrading... sakit nga lang sa bulsa. well, thank you for being so tyaga in answering me |

I'm a smart (prepaid) subscriber and I just bought my very 1st P800 yday(from being a nokia fan) and was kinda looking forward to having problems with agile messenger bcoz of this thread. But when i installed it today...It worked smoothly 
Cguro sa GPRS settings lng na ginawa ko sa SE site: for smart,globe & sun
1 - (OPTIONAL) master reset para fresh lahat. i decided to reset everything coz i kinda placed a wrong GPRS setting and i dnt know how to un-set it (i synchronized w my PC first to save all my files from the fone). dpende sa inyo.
After that
2 - I went to SE site http://www.sonyericsson.com/f[....]n_area.left_nav=sh_connect_nav
3 - click on software and support
4 - enter the fone model of the fone u r using (as for SE ha)
5 - Then click on WAP configurator
6 - follow the steps given from there
Sa Nokia, im not sure pero try this (for Smart subscriber only, tinanong ko sa smart customer service asst. to nung naka nokia pa ako)
from write message type SET GPRS N7650 (or N3660,N3650, etc)
after that you would recv a message, just save it
After saving that setting, sa write message ulit type GPRS ON
and that shld do it.
for MMS, same procedure, just replace GPRS wit MMS
pwede rin gawin sa SE fones to pero mas sure yng sa site
for se fones, same procedure, just change the fone model SEP800 or SEP900, SET610, etc.
