hey..
why is it when i edit a theme.. and then convert it back to *.thm format and send it back into my fone by IR, the fone says "Cannot open item, Delete item?"
when i dloaded the Matrix theme from www.esato.com/themes and sent it to my fone, it worked!!
wat am i doing wrong??

Maybe a silly question :
If you look inside a theme file, you’ll find those two lines :
Standby_operatorname Color="0xE0E0C0"/
Standby_operatorname_outline Color="0x000000"/
Is it possible to set those two colors to a “transparent” color, in order to hide the operator name… and “see through” to the background image…???
If anyone got a clue…

I have also a problem with creating my own themes. My phone wont accept them, and just wants to delete them.
I've been thinking about the tranparent operatorlogo for a very long time now, and I know the 256 color codes too.
The only problem is that my phone wont accept the theme files I've made...
So if there is someone who've successfuly been able to transfer a custom-made theme file to his/her T68i, please contact me!!! |

The matrix theme is very cool!!!! Is there some software I missed which allows you to embed the background in the theme or is this just made off the SE site?

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to make themes without doing it on the SE site?? Tell me how please..
I guess the phone wants to delete the corrupt theme because there is no reason to take up space in the phone with a corrupt file |

a thm file is a tar file which uses the ustar format.
If you use the gnu tar to make theme, it won't work, coz ustar is an old format.
You can create a theme by using WinAce or Windows Comander ...

If you download the theme “blue.thm” by christersson.org to your PC and then transfer it to your phone, does it work ?
If yes, then you can easily edit the color of this theme with WordPad, for example, and then save it and try again to transfer it to your phone ! Plus, this theme has no background pictures and it’s very easy to “understand” the code in it !!
Actually I can’t try myself because I still have a T68m… but maybe in two weeks…(I don’t trust SE since a long time…)
By the way, I’m very interested to know the code for the transparent color too…!!

From what I know You cant make it transparent. But if you can, please let us know
I know that you can give it the same color as the background-image,..but it doesnt make it transparent.

Some, like me, dont have WinAce or Windows Commander. Are they Shareware or freeware ?
Can any other programs like these be recommended ?

The SE-site's program for creating Themes doesnt seem to stabile, often it doesnt work properly. I basically wanna do my own themes too. Would be a lot easier.
