As per Vlammetje's - "Why are the mod's nationalities important anyway?". Well, to be honest Vlam, we Filipino were always (more often than not) are criticized for being having a brown color (racial discrimination) -perhaps one of the 'worst' to date in the Asia Pacific region -with all the insurgencies etc. Mariah Carey, once stated that "Oh, there are some brown people in Manila who do knows how to sing" - why is she all 'white' now???, and to reciprocate what she said, she just made/concluded a major asian tour w/c included the Philippines (maybe she's going asian now cause she's not very visible/popular in her country - US, w/c frequently happens to all foreign singers/actors too). In a nutshell, I am really proud to know that Arnoldc and GoWin made it as moderators - good luck guys ! Is that true Masseur? I have this college friend way back then (1990) when she and her family migrated to Australia, she wrote me a letter then stating that discrimination in your place (Aussie) is very much evident almost in all places, resulting to landing herself in a fastfood chain job (cashier) - w/c should not be the case, cause she is very much qualified to the supervisory level. How come Masseur ???

Well...... nationality in itself does not per se say anything about ones colour of skin imho..... and in any case this is an internet board. I can't think of any place where the colour of ones skin would matter less than here tbh 
I guarantee you that all mods were chosen because of their unique qualities and no other reason than that!
