Why is it so cool? Hard to say. A hard to get lady can be very exciting, a very hard to get Ericsson accessorie as well I guess 
The phone doesn't "regognize" it. You don't see something special when you look in the "connect-accessories" menu. |

I'd love to have one, but not enough to pay alot for it.
Much like wommen I like to have them but I'm not gonna pay for it.
