For some strange reason I never get charged no matter how much I dl/browse.

New Zealand - vodafone - standard rate $.05 USD per 10kb

Actually in Romania, on Connex, it's 1$/MB, if you pay a 2$ monthly fee (and you get full internet access), and 4$/MB without the fee (only WAP-GPRS access).

0€/MB between 18:00 - 06:00 for 10€ a month (Radiolinja GPRS Primetime), also allows Internet use

during other times of the day it's around 4€/MB

No, I changed my plan the other day. I used to pay $2.99 for 1 MB/month but changed to their new plan that is $4.99/month for unlimited data.

To me, that is a great deal.

Here in Slovenia is for students cheap:

0.4 € per 1mB , charge unit is 1kB.

For no students is

4€ per 1mB.

In Greece with cosmote is 30 euros unlimited data. This is the best if you want to surf using your phone as a modem
