is it a downloadable file that can be sent via bluetooth?
or do i have to take my phone to a service center?
is this free?
how can i find out where i can have my firmware updated??

All they have to dial is dial in to EMMA to download the latest. When I got mine done a month ago they only had R3B locally and when I saw that I informed them if the R3C version and they downloaded it right away and gave that to me.

patience? R3C has been out for 6-8 weeks... I think thats long enough for a service centre to get their act together

these guys are either stoopid or plain lazy....i personally think its a combination of both......perhaps due to the high staff turnover rate....in any case, i'm just thankful that the folks at my local service point are a real helpful lot.....to the extend they call to tell us a new version is out.....cheers to them....

no, but the servicepoint doesn't take any responsibility for things you have saved in the phone, so it's always good to do a backup before leaving the phone for upgrading. |
