@ Guys,

I've got the HBH-65. It is actually a replacement unit for me since my HBH-60 got an audio problem. The SE technician replace one for me and straight away I knew this is brand new..

What I can observed is that the audio is much better in terms of clear sound and loud.. (maybe my previous HBH-60 is screwed up).. It is as good as HBH-20 (for those has used this BT before).. battery wise still the same.. but connectivity wise improved a lot.. especially using with P800.. pairing has not been an issue here...

Plus.. they've inserted the clip on the pouch (same pouch as HBH-60 except with clip sew on it).

@alex:
great that you received a new unit instead of HBH-60. Really great service.
Could you please try to use it on a street with loud traffoc and in a car. What is the quality of your voice on the other side?

@ floke,
Sounds good with HBH-65. No problem at traffics and in the cars. Even in MRT is good though (HBH-60 can take the static of the MRT usually). My main concern is the volume. Previously, my HBH-60 has a low volume even I've maximised it to full. According to the SE technician, SE has improved the amplification of the voice to loud and clear instead of loud and blasting sound. As I mentioned, it is as good as HBH-20. HBH-20 definitely one of the best BT with its outstanding voice.

At Malaysia, we are out of HBH-60 and seems SE has stop producing the HBH-60.. which eventually replaced by HBH-65.

I work for one of the networks retail stores (i wont say which heheheh) but we have had a lot of problems with hbh 35 and 60's and sme phones mainly 6310i 's. Granted this could be down to the phone or the headset I appreciate and also I may only have come across this issue due to the great number of business users havin 6310 and most business users want headsets too.

Anyway in trying to sort out numerous issues it would seem that some headsets just didnt liked staying paired and would continuously keepin droppin connection. Having spoken to ericsson on many occasions they seemed to be temprimental with some handsets.

Some T610's also didnt like to stay paired either, ericsson recommended gettin firmware updates on the phones would help this issue.

I can safely say that I dont know if they do as non of my customers ever returned to confirm this, although not returning could suggest that the problem was sorted.

Anyway long story short YES there were some pairing issues with ericsson seemed to be aware of, and having chatted to our rep he didnt really have much to tell me about this headset only that the software had been greatly improved to hopefully eliminate any previous headset issues.

Conclusion : I hope in this case far more reliable and less connection issues.

Well hopefully cus for me it means less problems to sort out
hehehehe

Hope that is of some use to someone
thanks

Well I have a T610 with latest (R3C002 since about a week) firmware and a new HBH-60 and still been having problems with the headset not picking up phonecalls and so on.

So I can say the a flash of the phone won't help.

I posted a thread on this a long time ago but nooone answered. The HBH-65, is only going to be sold in certain parts of the world, where the HBH-60 in some cases are not.

These places are : the U.S., Philippines, N & C Africa, Thailand, Belgium, Denmark, U.K., Spain, Turkey and Ireland.

Of interest the HBH-60 is available to a much broader audience as it is available in many more countries than the HBH-65.

Perhaps the HBH-65 has got special approval for these places, I do not know.

The HBH-65 is out and about on every street corner here in Dubai. It costs around $135. I've been told by some shop assistants that it has improved in sound quality over the HBH-60

@dantec

A friend bought it today in Croatia. There was also a HBH-60 for some 80€ less, but he took HBH-65.

Has anyone done a pairing with a PC and either the HBH-60 or 65 ?

That is, to use the Bluetooth Audio Profile.

Any other SE headsets compatible with Audio Profile?

Can anyone relate any experiences please.

I've pair HBH-30, HBH-35 and HBH-60 to my PC (window XP via billionton bluetooth dongle software version 1.3.2.7) before only HBH30 support bluetooth headset and Audio profile but HBH-35 and HBH-60 only support headset but not as audio devices.

when pair HBH-35 and HBH60 to audio devices it will prompth you a error message telling you devices not supported.
