Hi Float
I also have a failure to connect to a T68m but only when using a data cable. I can connect using HyperTerminal and get the same responses as others i.e.
ati
T68
OK
atz
OK
The program seems to work fine when using IR though but always reports a connection failure on serial.

the IRcomm link in the sticky post is meant for Windows 2000 users. My laptop still uses win98. |

I am not able to use your software too.
Debug shows:
Found Inbox
Found Sent Items
Found Archive
Connecting...
[TX] ATI
Disconnecting...
Connection Error
I am using Xp with a data-cable.
All the other programs are working fine, Hyperterminal is answering normally. I also tried setting the comport to Flowcontrol: none, which didn't help. Any ideas? I really would like to use your program.

just the software i've been looking for ! works great -no issues. unlike the problems i've had with the ericsson & XTNDconnect stuff that came with the phone-that SW was A$$!
my setup:
R520m - Troy Windport bluetooth card - Win XP pro.
by the way- Bluetooth is THE only way to go -sending SMS while the r520 sits in the desk charger is just cool!
Thanks floAt! -looking forward to updates!

Guys,
Sorry for MIA for quite a while
I've uploaded the latest release 0.04 in my website, but the webpage is not updated, just follow the downloading and you should get the latest version (500+KB)
Not all the fixed/updates which i mentioned earlier are done in this release. Here, i've:
1. TRY to fix connection problem for some of the users. However this is all most as far as i can go unless i have the physical unit to troubleshoot.
2. XP theme support, it now looks better in XP
3. Inspired by my China's business trip last week, i've added UCS-2 (Unicode) coding scheme. It is now capable of sent/receive UCS-2 16bit SMS; tested with Chinese Simplified and Traditional, should work with others too as long as (1) it is defined in UCS-2 (2) the receiving phone supports it (3) the receiving user can understand it
4. Some small bug fix, faster SMS phonebook lookup, Debug log with timestamp, etc etc...
Let me know...
Cheers,

i remember win98 expose virtual serial port for IR devices... they remove it in w2k coz' it is problematic, and some architectural sh*t.
You shouldn't need a 3rd party IRCOMM driver.

floAt

Gowin,
I've just double checked the size and downloaded via another computer and it works. Maybe you were disconnected from the server halfway thru your download and your browser think it is completed (when you retry, it will just retrive from the cache)
Try again after clearing your cache or use other download agent such as GetRight.

Small bug fix release - 0.05
Fixed Chinese character (or other unicode maybe) display in Win2k, this problem does not occur in XP.
Also: Worked on Siemen's 6618, except not able to receive Incoming Message notification.
