Well I did support this site but I think Esato needs to actively encourage donations if it really wants them, rather than just a link at the top with no feedback that funds were even received by Esato correctly. Also, if people do donate voluntarily I am sure they would like to be recognised as such although some may just be happy with the satisfaction they have contributed.
Alternatively, like PocketPc Thoughts, which is one of my main pocketpc sites, they now have a subscription based donation service where you actually get a few extra benefits as a subscriber including a little "Site Supporter" logo next to your posts and these subscriptions can be from very affordable to corporate level.
