Thanks for the cellotape trick - I never thought of using it to clean my brando! I'd actually written the brando off, because it had so much stuff on the back, and I'd tried cleaning it and blow drying it soo many times but it just wasn't working.

One or two cleaning attempts with the tape and it was perfect!!

I got my O+ today. Waited for about a week. Carefully washed my hands and the screen and put the protector on. Shit, little hair in the middle of the screen. Tried several times to remove the protector and finally succeeded with the tip of a knife. Unfortunatly made a tiny scratch on the screen in the top corner. I removed the hair but now it is still not the way I wanted it. There are two tiny circles on the screen. I don't dare to wash the damn thing. I already ordered two new ones. I will put them on in the bathroom after a shower. All dust should be gone then. Damn, not happy right now, 12 € and now again 25€ for two new ones....aah what the heck....

Fritzke, sorry to laugh at your misfortune but that was one funny post! Sounds like yer p800 is better off with no screensaver rather than going under your knife again! Jesus.. If you put it on after a shower think of all the dead skin cells and grime that will be floating around...

I got my Brando on after multiple attempts - it's a mighty pain in the ass to do it right, but once it's on you don't have to think about it any more, so it's worth the trouble. Anyone here with highly refined attachment methods should open a little shop offering O+, Brandos + clean afixings. Seems like there's a market..

Yeah, maybe I can laugh with it too after a few days or when my new O+ arrives. For now I just leave it on the way it is. It's not too bad actually. The thing is, I keep on focussing on that tiny scratch in the top corner

@Fritzke

i washed my O+ like 7 times before I got it onto the screen of my P800 the way I wanted.. I used cool water with a little liquid hand soap in it to wash it.. I actually rubbed the sticky part with my hands every time I washed it and it's just fine.. I have it now on my screen without a single bubble or any dust particles.. you can barely notice I have it there to begin with.. and btw.. use your finger nail to remove it.. it's much better than a knife..

after washing your O+ just run it under a water faucet from side to side slowly.. make sure the water is touching both sides when you do it.. and if you do it correctly you don't even have to dry it cause not a single drop of water will stay on the O+

that's what i did.. no blow dryer.. no tape.. no nothing.. just good old water and soap
