If you post here 99% of people will tell you to get the p800 if you post on a nokia board 99% of people will tell you to get the nokia. Best thing you can do is go to a general mobile forum and get an idea of what people who have neither (or both) think. |

why comparing a Black & White phone with a Color phone? We should keep upgrading not downgrading. No more Black & White display phone.
GO for P800!!!! |

i would go for 8910i purely for style.
besides more smartphone is comming out soon. price of P800 will surely drop but there's no competition for the 8910i high class range. |

Actually the Nokia 8910i is a color phone, but I have both and I prefer the P800 because of all the functions and features it has over the 8910i.
The good points of 8910i:
a) Well built, but may rattle after some use
b) Cool sliding feature and slim profile
The bad points of 8910i:
a) Scratch prone
b) Very limited features (a lot less than the Nokia 6100)
c) Small screen
d) Buttons are small and might be hard to press
The good points of P800:
a) Has most of the functions that you will ever need (this is an understatement)
b) Well constructed
c) Very large screen
d) Excellent battery life for a PDA / mobile phone hybrid
The bad points of P800:
a) Missing some features that are available in the T68i (e.g. predictive text input)
b) Large, but pocketable |

So you are saying the 8910i is better than the p800?
P800 = Windows !
It crashes alot, is prone to bugs and you have to keep restarting it down every few hours.
Of course I am joking I love the p800, but maybe we should compare it with linux |

If you want style...
The best would have to be the upcoming sl55 no duobts.
If you want something now.. The t68i with it's blue diodes and sleek design is the best looking(and much much cheaper). Of course it won't get you any attention as it's kinda old news...
the 8910 may be made of titanium. But beyond that there really isn't much to it's design.. |

Well in my oppinion, the P800 is far better value for money, many more features and is something very special at the moment.
But the 8910i is pure sexy sleek style especially in the black titanium. hmmmmm
Last night 2 guys at a bar were chatting on there phones, 1 had a P800 and the other 8910i. Sorry but the P800 might have loads more features but the 8910i ohhhhhhh the way it slips out of the casing.
But that is just my oppinion and i'm just a blond girl lol

If you really like the 8910i pair it with a Tungsten T as they go well together, retractable casing and all. You won't miss out on the cool functions of the P800 and still get your much vaunted bling bling factor. Otherwise keep the P800.

trust me, you'll have to bullhorn the expensive features of the 8910 before you get noticed. Except, of course, for the 1% population of GSM fanatics. P800, on the other hand, you just need to bust out with the stylus and people starts wondering what the - can I see that?
My point is, if people don't notice the phone, wouldnt sleekier, sexier, blingier be irrelevant. Just pointing out the door, it's up to you wether you go with preference or truth.
Though, I concur with the fact that the P800 is a brick |

People usually don't see my phone... cos I'm always using a Bluetooth Headset......
But seriously; my soon-to-be-delivered-brand-new-P800 is not going to see the inside of a bar/pub or alike. Not because it's too ugly (which I think it is....) but because it's too Big! As if I wanted to play a game over there... not! (tho I would miss the camera I guess...)
I still have a T39m Iceblue in good shape, and I've noticed that if people like the T39m, they like it a lot. I don't really give a shit if a phone looks good... If it's easy to use, really portable, and have all the features I could imagine to be using, I'm happy..

well i think suzy settled your issue. That is if you're looking to impress the ladies ;) What do us guys know about style anyway? heeheehee. I don't agree that the p800 is a brick though. Sure it might be a but wider than you regular cellphone but this is not just a regular cellphone & considering it has BIG screen, I don't see how anyone else can make it as compact as it is now. Plus the p800 feels lighter than my nokia 6210(bcoz of the battery) and the 6210 is way slicker than the p800.
