Worried about p 800 |

For those who would like to know what 4096 colors look like, this is a very nice page that will give you an idea:
http://pocketpcpassion.com/General/RickJ/colordepth.htm
Now, I don't have a P800 (not yet ) but I would really like to know if the photoshop macro proposed at the bottom of the page will give good results on the P800. I have tested it myself with an IPAQ and also on my computer, converting 16 MColor JPGs to 4096 colors and it is VERY difficult to notice the difference.
Anyone with a P800 and photoshop cares to try? Here is the link to the macro:

the bottomline is it crashes when you add apps on it which is bad. you cannot do the things the phone is capable of so to me it's a waste of cash getting buying it. it pisses me off when something expensive bogs down on me like you bought an exotic sports car and it always breaks down when you are driving it. total bummer.

@d' fuhrer
Mine has never crashed when adding apps. The only crashes I have are those I had before. Which are about 1-2 a month. And sometimes non existent.

Strange topic.
I think every one must decide himself if he likes the phone or not and only thing is to try it. It is the thing that people are different some like daughters some like mothers. So to say. I think it is superb. The crashing thing is also the more you play with it the more it might crash. It is a computer dont forget. And there is no need to update if you do not want to. You dont update your windows either every day.
My best advice read through all the ansvers but best try it yourself.

d' fuhrer, you dont have a p800 so how do you know how it operates? I have had one for 2 months and am very happy with it, at least the people here who have posted comments good or bad have had experience of the phone, ur comments are always negative towards the phone, u always seem to quote the bad points never mentioning the positive experiences others have had, bottom line is its up to the individual if the phone is for him or not based on trying out the phone

true maybe you do, maybe you dont, but i cant recall you posting that u have one which is what leads me to conclude that u are not speaking from experience of the phone which makes ur arguments against the phone invalid, but if u do have one then ur input is valid as another opinion |

right i'm bored so let's answer some of those posts..
i return to this forum coz i know it winds up all those sad, sad people who care so much about a phone and can't take a bit of criticism.
futhermore, the bloke who said the p800 is the first thing he touches in the morning and last thing he touches at night.......you obviously ain't got a girlfreind... try getting out more.
the p800 had a good chance of being a excellent phone, but failed due to software complications.
anyway enough of this banter....good night all.

@migzy,
"the p800 failed"? I think not. It is sold out nearly everywhere in my country.
Secondly - the guy who said it is the last thing he touches in the morning and at night doesn't have a girlfriend? Well all I can say to that is that you obviously don't have a wife...
