wrong again jbendaou. egypt attacked and invaded israel so they made the jews slaves. moses just brought them back to their land hence the jews were freed by the pharoah. read about the the egyptian empire more info. the old testament in the bible is about the history of the jews.

They deserve what they - history shows they have earned it and any country the size of Israel, surrounded by the fundamentalist hatred in the Middle East, has a right to defend itself.
But this war is about preventing a terrorist gangster from plotting mass-genocide, something he has done before. How can you say that that is wrong? The motives are a side-issue. Bush IS an idiot. But the action is right.

Dave uk u definitely RIGHT, they do work hard, and it is very well known that jews are good at what they do... but i cant let you say that they are surrounded by ARABIC countries who support terrorism,fundamentalist ,etc... i am MUSLIM, and i do not want terrorism anywhere... and i never said it is wrong to try to stop Terorrism...i want it to stop, but i just want people to realize that not every arab is a terrorist...
U kown, as that guy said earlier about(kicking someone's father,etc...) u know those suicide bombers dont care to blow themselves and die...and do u know why? because they have SEE their children , parents, familly die, by israelien bullets(maybe manufactured in the US), tanks crashing them also....and do u think they gonna care about wearing a bomb and blowing themselves and killing their "enemies"...
anyways, all this is vecause a piece of land was given to someone...they did not look at the consequences...
and i just hope that this whole situation would be better very soon, cause soooooooo many innocent people are dying for no darn reason.

More innocent lives will be lost by a lack of action. You're right - Bush has his own agenda, as does Blair to a lesser extent - but that's not the point. The point is that they're doing the right thing for the wrong reasons but it's still the right thing. I would much rather the motives were right as well, but you can look to Colin Powell for a more reasoned view, for what it's worth. I know it sounds like I'm a pro-war fanatic but in any different circumstances, I'd feel the same as you. It's just that it angers me that people like Fahed exploit Bush's idiocy and bad PR and turn his motives and Israel into the crux of the argument when they're not. The real issue is islamic fundamentalist-inspired terrorism, which claimed thousands of innocent lives on 9/11 and will do so again, given half the chance. Bush WILL stop that even if only to settle a personal agenda but isn't that still necessary, whatever his reasons for doing it?
