With lower ISO used, it really looks noticeably better EVEN WITHOUT HAVING TO RESCALE the photo.

The photo in the comparison tool displays more details to the XZ2. I am greatly surprised by its image quality. It definitely feels Sony have taken a step or two up in that regard.

I'll go back to Sony just because of XZ2.
It's simply better than the rest.
Are you nervous? |

Well, if you'd analyze most of the other lowlight tests, Sony is usually like ISO 800 compared
to the other phones with 50 or 200. Sony IS usually making great shots, you just have to use
the manual mode.

The is no single benefit to remove the 3.5mm jack apart from Sony being able to sell their more expensive headsets and dongles.
Not really sure, but AFAIR
iPhone 7 / 7 Plus removed analog audio port and replace it with vibration actuator, so did as latest releases of XZ2
while majority vendors keep reportchose to increase a little higher battery capacity?

Apart of pocket-able Sony SBH20 bluetooth headset (6hrs battery)

Sweet Jebus the XZ2 destroys them all. I made a large pic of the low light comparison between the S9, XZ2 and Pixel 2 XL that I posted on another forum, in case anyone wants it:

I wonder if DXOMark will still be reviewing Xperias. Galaxy s9+ has already toppled Pixel 2 from the top spot.
Do you think XZ2 can go beyond 99 points? |

The XZ2 is a massive step up in the camera department for Sony. Makes me envious sitting here with my XZ Premium, lol |

Cons:
* Chubby and slippery
* No 3.5mm audio jack
*The selfie camera has been downgraded and poor quality
* Capturing slow-mo videos is rather difficult.
* Camera lacks OIS, while the Intelligent Active Steady Shot stabilization is still limited to 1080p@30fps videos. |

I don't get why they downgraded the selfie cam.
Maybe they leave it to the Premium.
Also XZ2 is 140 Euro more expensive than XZ1 was.
I have to say this trend is disgusting.
I remember phones like Z2 costing 500 Euro max.
Now it's almost double the price.
