Actually i would rather give my money to Alias. OSPS is dodgy - do a search of google groups. Better of to buy it from smalltalk.co.uk IMO, it may cost a bit more, but you do get a free Mini Racer and they know what they are doing.

We will wait for the real line 2 answer, but I would bet against it. On Orange's website, under the specification details they list line 2 for all the other phones (Except Philips). Line 2 is absent from the description for the P800

Also, the firmware R1D implies a standard release and not a modified Orange release.

@richardadc
ive got a few mates who have made purchases with onestop, no problems at all..... but i guess its worth taking a second look to be on the safe side.

smalltalk are charging a little more (for the FREE mini racer ), but i dont know anyone who's purchased of them....

@all
any other opinions? smalltalk or onestop??

also peeps who have just got a uk P800.... would you kindly post details on how much you paid... tariffs... where you live... code for ure house alarm.... that kinda stuff.

I just got back from the Reading Orange shop with a shiny new P800 (299.99 upgrade, no fee as I have had old phone > 18months).

The woman in the shop said charge it for 16 hours - the book says 4 hours? Which should I believe ?

Just went to the Orange Shop in staines, and they have 2 p800's, but only one is for sale... they are going to use one for display purposes and show to customers..... good marketing technique.....

i will wait for mine till vodafone UK have it...

Also i HATE that Orange sign on the phone......

i know the answer is probably NO but does the offical englsih p800 have t9 on
i guess it wont be any different from the other p800 but with the delays i wondered if the uk market had asked for it to be put on due to the number of sms we send in this country
also someone talked earlier about 3 months unlimited gprs is this the unlimited wap one if so what the screen like for viewing things like esato.just like on t68i all text with some smileys or does it look more like the web version

RMG. I am suprised that there is no line 2. Wonder if it might be offered later on a upgrade.
