But their big cheese said only a couple of days ago they're considering dropping out of the feature phone market to concentrate on smartphones. So there might not be any more classic phones like the T610, S700i, K750i, K850i etc.
Sad news ? Sony Ericsson eventually shedding its feature phones altogether, in order to become a smartphone-only company.

That is sad news cos they were great phones but times change. You can still buy a brand new w995 or Aino from Amazon. I may do before they go forever. Their latest feature phones have been poor efforts though like Walkman Mix and Text Pro with teenagers in mind only. Even the Walkman sound was said to be poor. When they said they promised the best of all worlds in their Xperia range its not really happened has it?? Feature phones may not be the future but they give people like us a sense of nostalgia

Tell me about it. Ive always wanted a T700 since it was released as a nostalgic look back at the T610 but have never had the spare cash to get one.
SE's own feature phone interface has always been better imo than Nokia's S40 interface, better than Samsungs and better than the horrible Motorola interface. If this does happen and SE only stick to smartphones, they're going to make it easy for their brand name to drop out of the minds of the public. Their smartphones never compete with Samsungs, so without feature phones they'll lose even less identity.

The A200 interface was and still is the best ever feature phone OS. S40 you cannot multi task like the a200.
