Why stress and worry if our T68m is upgradable to the T68i then there is no need to worry!!!!!Its like the Siemens SL45 and SL45i (Java) but that upgrade from normal to Java cost about 60 Euro!!!Lets hope that the MMS upgrade will be FREE!!! Personally i think the T68i exists but not for commercial use yet only Network operators have them to test the 3G networking, the same goes for the Nokia 7650!!

yes the upgrade for MMS will be free.... the support for MMS will be apart of the ordinary software for T68, so you just have to leave the phone at a servicepoint to get the software updated.

it's for real... it's said that the MMS support is already finished for release in the new software version, but just waits for the mobileoperators to implement MMS in their networks.

It1S a pity you don't belive that t68i exists and also you can buy it.
I wrote that these shops are not official Ericsson Service Centers. (as Fulika said so)
I'm gonna prove the existence of this phone to you!
Off: Sorry for the Hungarian!
Fulika:

Blue back-light at phone with colour-display sounds very weird to me. And at the swedish site (somebody wrote about), at that page they wrote that ericsson did'nt want to confirm that there will be any new phone calledt68i.

I spoke to a Ericsson representative here in Portugal and he confirmed the release of a T68i, it will have a blue backlight for the keyboard and it doesn´t have that rattling noise of the side key, that´s the major case diferences! It will also have that new software with all the goodies and MMS, I asked him if we could upgrade our T68 to that software and he told me that he doesn´t know for certain but he thinks not because T68i will be more expensive and in that case everybody would buy T68 and upgrade it!
I seriouslly expect that he was wrong!!!!!!!!

Cytech--> I read the sites and it says that the only difference is that the T68i will be 10$ more expensive and the it won't be available in CIS countries.... like where I live
Both of the phones look the same, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just took the same picture....
Oh well, whatever... |

Hi!
Well, I'm from Hungary, too. I was at a movie with my friends, and one of them has the new SonyEricsson T68 (I've got the "old" silver). It has slightly different menu pictures, has blue illumination on the keyboard. In the Fun menu, the Games are the 7th item, and has different games. If you wish proof, I can perhaps tomorrow make pictures of it. BTW, after switching it on, it has about 20-30 seconds delay, I just pressed the buttons, but it didn't reacted. The display is better (brigter, more colorful) . |

Well, I'm not Darkman (Hi, Darkman). Tomorrow I'll try to ask my friend to bring his phone to my home, and I'll make some pictures side by side with my T68.
BTW the story: this boy showed me his phone about a week ago, it was a T68 (I had a 6310). It was cool, so I bought one. Now we met at the cinema, and he showed me his new T68i. He said, the T68 had the microphone gone bad, and he brougth it back to the shop, and got this new one. And yes, it has a SonyEricsson text on the front. |
