Nokia E63
Probably the best price/performance in smartphones now and probably one of the better keyboard layouts in this form-factor. I wish the earpiece and handsfree speakerphone were a little louder in calls, though.
Can't stand the appearance of the E71 but that has more features and official Ovi Maps support (I'd still want to use an external bluetooth GPS receiver for better reception than the internal GPS though).
Nokia E72 is also an option but may cost more.
I really like these qwerty bar phones with decent battery life and proper app support so other Nokia models don't rate a mention for me.
I really loved one feature of the Nokia 2600 though:

It had a "Send Later" feature for SMS. I could assign the time/date the SMS were to be sent and it would automatically do it. Amazing. The rest of the phone (call quality, features) was pretty sub-par though.

I never owned one (stupidly got the SE P990i instead) but I would say having played on a friends one alot it would be the Nokia E61i.I had the Nokia N95 8gb and still have a Nokia E90 but the Nokia E61i would still be my favourite.Wish I could turn back time when I had that upgrade due and choose the E61i instead.Think I would have been happy with that phone for 2 years whereas the P990i lasted only a couple of months.

The nokia 6230. It has the lightning fast UI and the unbeatable keypad I have ever used.
If I didn't lose it, it would still be my primary phone today, 4 years it has served me well. A phone with complete connectivity during it's time having both Infrared and Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE. Has a MMC card slot, one of the loudest mobile phone with good quality loudspeakers, takes decent VGA photos, great sunlight legibility and is very durable. If I ever had a complaint about it it would be the screen is a little bit small, and the poor video recording quality, which during it's time isn't really necessary.

Nokia 3310 - the one that set the multicolored and 3rd party custom cover revolution!
The color that came with my first phone!
My favorite:
Customized backlighting (very unique)
Custom 3rd party housings
Ultimately this was the most customizable phone ever, no other phone that follows have been like this, most of you guys may bot have seen this model (referring to the teens here) but this made Nokia very popular

8210 could have been my favourite due to its revolution in function and small design of the day
but... soon after in Australia came the 8250 with same size but more prominent keys and blue backlight and so for me, that would be my favourite Nokia that I have had
I'm sorry but 3310 was big and ugly by comparison and I couldn't bring myself to get one of those.

I'm sorry but the only thing the ngage series was good for was the satire of sidetalkin'! (see the pics)

Yes indeed, if i remember correctly 3300 and 5510 shares the same design idea with N-Gage, just without the outrageous sidetalking
I agree with you masseur on the 8250 but it was outshined by 8310 soon after i've seen it on my television screen then later 7650 outshineds them both,
another favorite would be this:
^^ one of the early 8xxx series. just that i didn't own one at all
