NO! It's not gonna end. Neither in 2012 nor in at least 40+ years.

It may do one day the truth is nobody knows. So just live your lives & stop worrying about it  You see these people who claim to know that the world is going to end are just plain............strange

Being a Muslim we know... We may die/end anytime even in 2011 but it is damn sure that this world cannot meet its end upto at least 40 (or 40 + ___ years).

No it matters. (You/anybody believe it or not; that doesn't matter  ) Though nobody knows the exact year/time but this is truth that not in the forty years. You'll see.

The world ends when we die and everyone dies sooner or later nothing can ever stop that so why worry about 2012 or whenever its meant to happen? |

I don't see Earth dying on 2012, when you said "world" i think you refer to the human race, Earth will only die for these scientifically based scenarios:
1.) An asteroid collision with size enough to crush the planet
2.) undiscovered near-earth Supernova bursting GRBs incinerating Earth's surface
3.) death of the Sun 5 billion years later (which will engulf the planet alongside mercury, venus and mars, perhaps jupiter too :-0), coincidentally scientists said Earth will is also subjected to die on the same timeline
I simply ignore those unscientific prophesies as they tend to be oversensational. on the religious side, only god knows when will be the end.
