price range, what the hell does price range mean. a high end phone becomes mid level price in a year or so.
remember the K810i or even the K750. the cams on those devices are much better then today's phones who are in the low mid level or starting level price range.

It is so but we talk about this moment ,what will be next year we will see... the phone for it's price delivers very good 5mp camera, has a very good walkman and cost the 1/3 of your (mine) P1i .
I still own 2 W800i and know what you are talking about k750 camera and it was great, but still this one is Better and costs much less |

TBH the phone seemed pretty boring when I first heard of it... it's a simple, mid range Sony Ericsson, it didn't seem to have any sort of 'main feature/attraction' to it apart from its from their 'Greenheart' range which personally, I have no interest in. Then I saw photos looked surprisingly good, even though it's not a cyber-shot, but the low light photos aren't good, and apparently neither is the LED flash. I considered buying the phone just for its potential in good light, but the phone is only as strong as its weakest link, for me it needs a lens cover and xenon flash + good low light performance. But if it had xenon it would compete with the cyber-shot series as the camera would then become a main feature. IMO it's an easy to use phone with all the basic features from sony ericsson, for quite a low price.

my P1i costed less then the ELM phone right now.
the ELM is over ratted here. like said before, the flash is not good enough. A good camera phone takes good pics during the day and the night.

You're comparing Elm with P1? LOL. You're officially a bitter old fart in my books

Guys...enough of this poor flash talk.
We just have to accept that the Xenon flash enabled phone has just passed. It's just LED to "no nothing at all" nowadays. Companies are not into it anymore. they're focusing more on OS (UI). Developing and enhancing it.
So just stop all these "poor in lowlight" thingy...cause we really never going to get it |

well, since I'm am also considering Elm, is Elm a A2 phone? If yes, can I customize this phone through modding? Thanks!

Elm is A200. I'm not sure if modding is already possible.

Of course is possible. The C serie phones are a200(DB3150 and DB3210). Even DB3350 as your Aino

I don't think so, LED flash comes standard in most phones that have a camera, so there are more phones with LED than xenon flash. The xenon is a key feature in most camera-based phones, companies are interested as it makes the phone sell. Just because most phones aren't camera based so people don't care what flash they have, doesn't mean that in phones where camera is a main feature there will be no xenon.

Although, I read on se-nse its not compatible with A2 Uploader
