I have tryed this method this morning on my handset and the branding is still present.
It must need another file. |

Do you have a file around 370 bytes if you list them by size (give or take 30 bytes)? |

There is a big difference in terms of file between simfree and Vodafone firmware.

verryyyy interesting !
I bought an O2 one on Ebay coz I didn't want a branded Voda one (which I've just received.. I now have 3... :S )
If you can debrand this easily, I'll be very very happy.
also.. what do you lose when you upgrade firmware?
I've set mine up quite nicely now (contacts linked to fb, new keyb, ringtones etc).. will the bassband update not affect this?
