Aino PS3 remote play. |

I have been pretty disappointed with the remote play feature to be honest.
I can only get the wifi remote play to work when at home but does not work at all when using any other wifi hotspot , it just sits there saying "connecting to playstation 3".
As for remote play via 3G that doesn't work at all , It just sits there saying "searching for playstation 3" . |

I donīt say you didnīt  activate the Remote Start setting in PS3, It should work in an other WiFi network, despite I dont have an Aino to play around with, I have some friends that been able to do that.
3G is different story, I dont know anyone that managed to connect thrugh 3G.
(spelling can be a bit wrong... having a couple of öl...sorry ...beers now)

Hi, I live in Qatar and picked up the Aino a couple of days back.
Same issues as yours, remote play works fine at home but doesn't work on any other wifi hotspot or via 3G.
Software Version: 1223-3004 R1BA049 090921
Network: Vodafone Qatar.
Remote Play was the only reason i picked up this device but i think i might be getting rid of it now... |

Same issue here!
I get 'Certificate not valid for selected website, Continue anyway?' followed by the no PS3 found screen. It works fine at home connected to my own wireless network.
Is this an issue with my router or does the system actually not currently work?
This is also the main reason I just got this phone.  |

Did you open and forward the port TCP 9293 to your PS3 IP on your router ? |

No I haven't, no documentaion I have come accross has mentioned the need to do so. I really had hoped it would be hassle free. Silly I know!

Hey guys,
Still having trouble with this. I've opened the associated port on the PS3 as stated but still no luck. Has anyone had success connecting 'remotely' via a wireless network that is not in their own home? |

Try updating the firmware on your Aino. New version fixed the Remote Play connectivity for me. |
