Agree with Mode the lack of manual EV and WB control is the minus. First i thought that Aino had a bad camera, but now i feel it's good, may be not one of the best, but it's not that bad either. But you have to learn to take pictures with Aino |

I guess I was expecting bigger and better things from the Aino in terms of photo quality, lack of zenon apart.
Supposedly each new mid/high end phone that comes along should see an improvement in the images it produces and given Aino is 8mp I was hoping the pics would be better than the C series.
Pics taken with the Satio show a massive leap from the 5mp phones and I thought Aino being 8mp might immediately jump out as being better than older phones as well but I can see it. |

But of course, we all expected more in the camera department. But hey, why isn't there any U10i example photos title in the photos section?

@jmcomms
Clean the lens next time you do sample photos for a review. This is just ridiculous.

What is EV? WB is White Balance for the people, who don't know.

EV= Exposure Value
You know, the +/- thing you use to control brightness/exposure ranging from +2.0 to -2.0

It seems that the phone has good auto-wb detection. However, the lack of EV is really disappointing - even T610 has this. As I see from the last pictures ( thanks for them ), in some conditions it's better to miss the flash light, because the quality goes worse.

Aino's 16:9 images are just over 2 mega pixels:
These were taken at full 8 mega pixel resolution:
