Well, it all comes down to each persons personal prefferance/needs. For me, the Neonode N1 is just too small. I really don't see how it can be practical for any serious use. It's more like a flashy multimedia toy aimed at the youth market. And not being Symbian powered makes it a no-buy too in my book.

if it's not buggy, why does it sometimes tell you to reset the p800? ain't that a bug itself? |

I wouldn't classify that as a BUG. Remember that we are dealing with an advanced Operative System. Compare it to the OS on your computer. Sometimes the OS will get software installed that doesn't agree well with other software installed or with the OS itselves etc. This will cause the device to \"crash\" and a reboot is needed. This is normal for an advanced unit like this, and it will most probably still happen sometimes no matter how many firmware upgrades you get. So you see, the 10 seconds reboot screen is more like a feature so you don't have to remove the battery to reboot. The same \"crashes\" happens on 92#0's and 7650's as well, and they've been out a while already and been through several upgrades. I rarely get these \"crashes\". I am completely amazed how bugfree this device really is, especially considering how feature rich and advanced it is.

wanted a 7650 at first, but when i saw the P800 on the net last year, changed my mind even before the 7650 came out. No contest, except for the price.
3 main reasons for considering P800:
1. Expandability! Has memory stick expansion.
2. Touch screen! Easier navigation.
3. Tri-band. A bonus.
These are what made me choose P800 over the 7650 |

Remember that P800 is made to handle alot of different things at the same time, so sometimes it might get too many commands from the user for the OS handle(not often), and that might confuse the OS and cause it hang, which will require a reboot to make it clear-headed again, so to speak...

despite we don't have any of them here in mexico, i'd chose P800 cause it's got a built-in MP3 player and polyphony! |

some of you guys are so naiv!! it's glass clear that the 7650 has more third party apps in the market cuz like somebody said it was out in JULY and the P800 in DECEMBER !! and the P800 is not even officially out in most countries in this world!! Oh c'mon, stop thinking that the 7650 is way better than the P800.
but let us be honest, everything is this world got their plus' and minuses and that goes for the 7650 and the P800 too! but give the P800 some time and you will see !!
Just becuz i rock, doesn't mean i'm made of stone!! |

Guys, just note that P800 has come almost one year after 7650, and as far as I've heard (I'll try one soon ) it's not quite the perfect thing (strange UI e.g. for changing ringtone, bugs, etc).
Not that 7650 is perfect either (I don't like the looks for instance), but it's been very stable from the very start.
Anyway, I wouldn't get any of them. I'd rather get 3650, definitely. |

it's 2 completely different products. the comparison is utter futile.
the only thing they have in common is that u can make phone calls an take photos with both.
it's like comparing a soccer team to a tennis player - wake up!
7650 is in the t68 market segment, not the p800. the only nokia phone u could compare toa a p800 would be those huge communicators, i think. |

That's not true. The 7650 hasn't been very stable from the start. Ever heard of the memory bug in version 3.12? And also, even with the newest firmware, you'll experience some quite annoying errors, closing of applications etc.. Like I've said before, the P800 is stable as he!!, much more so than 7650 or any other smart/PDA phone.

Just stop comparing the two!! It's like those Mac and Intel dudes, almost beating up each other over which system is better. Blargh!
WTF! A typical 7650 user - prolly teens and some non-geeks - will never actually buy a P800. They'd complain about not having T9 and shit, because they don't friggin' understand how to use a PDA...
So wouldya pwease stop this dumb argument?! |

Stop!
Stop!
Stop all of this sh!t
P800 is not a normal phone to compare with this 7650 Phone. P800 can be compared to Nokia 9xxx or other mobile pocket PC devices.
Nokia 7650 is not a P800 competitor even if it has a better feature than P800. You can compare 7650 phone with T68i or T300 or any other phone from other companies like Motorola or Samsung. Don't say that Nokia 7650 has more that 256 colors and a Built-in camera so it can be compared to P800.
P800 is a way (I will not say better) different device than 7650.

There's one thing between these phones that really makes the difference for me: p800 has expendable memory. 7650 not |

I forget to say that the only problem with SE P800 is the delay. Se has been delayed it for very long time leaving a space to the other companies to produce phones with some of its features like the 4k colors and built-in digital camera. On my opinion if P800 was available before this 7650 phone, Nokia wouldn't release this pooooooool shit device. Very huge brick for only getting pictures. P800 when it’s come to size is bigger than this 7650 but with a way huge different feature wise and uses. That’s why the size will not be a matter with such perfect device.
