50cents?!?!!?!? WHAT A RIP!!
here in montreal it is 3c/kb (3 CANADIAN cents)
and I thought I got it bad...

our unlimited plan is 50$CND/month with fido..
and I hv to admit it's pretty fast.. I was expecting it to be crappier than a 56k..

hmmmm. I am trying this webviewer on the P800 and if I go to wap.esato.com and click on discussion forum it just reloads the current page. it does that for a couple of the links on that main page.

Added:
Tried a few other pages such as news.bbc.co.uk and if I click on headlines it just reloads the same page again too.

Unless I am doing something wrong this doesn't seem like a great viewer to me.

@fijbert, sorry for the confusion..flaming lips meant 50 centavos...that's a little less than US$0.01/KB here in the Philippines.

@flaminglips... GPRS is still free from Globe using their www.globe.com.ph gateway. If you surf using their internet.globe.com.ph gateway, the 50 CENTAVOS/KB is put into effect.

It's not full internet, but hey it's free... some sites aren't shown, others are.

Globe MMS is charged at Php5.00/MMS or US$0.10/MMS. Inter-MMS isn't working yet. I'm not sure how much Smart Telecom charges, but it should be around the same price as well.

oh..
that's a pretty good rate

well for now I am with the 3c/kb thing, but if I go over 1mb/month I will be switching to unlimited..
TipicME uses up a lot..
so does checking movie listings.. and if I had unlimited, I wld do so much more.. I wldnt restrict myself

@fijbert
go for unlimited if you think you'll be using gprs a lot, like we do here in the phils. it's quite indispensable to me now. fortunately for us, we have free gprs.

btw, 1mb/month should be little, compared to my monthly consumption.

yes, in the main applications window click the drop down menu that says applications and choose uninstall, then pick webviewer and click uninstall.

Unless you mean the built in browser in which case probably not as its in firmware, not memory.

Here in Singapore, 1 of our service providers ( MobileOne ) is offering a GPRS plan with a cap of SGD$102 (Singapore Dollars)...In other words, UNLIMITED GPRS for 102 bucks a month...Roughly abt £35 ..Is that considered cheap in ur countries?..cos i dont really know. I think it is...
