My Pal has a N96 he hasn't got any problems with his he pretty much loves it tbh, I don't I thought it looked a dis-tasteful piece of plastic crap phone,
lmao it's got nothing to offer over the N95-8GB except for a little more memory 
After having a N95 and N95-2 both of them are the best in my eyes!

The N96 has been a monumental failure. Not sure what Nokia was thinking with that one.

Nokia used to make simple reliable phones, I bought an HTC few months back but before commiting I spoke to a chap in the handset faults department at Orange UK asking if they had many returns of this phone and he said no not really we just get a continuous streem of Nokias his words were "Nokias are rubbish now" basically if you buy a phone (or any product) that doesn't do what it should or what you have been lead to believe, you should return it because the longer you keep it the more your accepting its short comings.
So because of this modern trend to put out CRAP phones make shure also that you purchase from well known responsible retailers where you can stand in the shop telling other customers how CRAP it is until they do something about it

go for a N86 when it comes. it surely better in all aspects.
the biggest plus is that the camera doesn't produce this horrible N95-smudge-brown/green/blue colours any more

I got the n96 on contract from the carphone warehouse in feb this year, within a week it started to crash so they replaced it, then again the 2nd phone went faulty and was sent somewhere down south was repaired twice, got it back and yip you guessed it, it went faulty again, with the same problems and a new one, when i receive a text it opens the text displays the number or the senders name and deletes it, come tomorrow the carphone warehouse are sending a higher spec phone, see what complaining and threatening legal action does! |
