Wat's the diff between t68, t68m & t68i?
Also do they come with chinese character?

I'm interested in getting either t68/m/i or the Nokia 6510. any advise?

t68 and t68m are the same, same companies such as orange just add the m on to make it sound better, t68i is the sonyericsson branded version of the t68 and the one with the chinese support is t68mc.

I jope this answers your questions and welcome to esato.

Hi There,

I am a new to the forum, have read the FAQ and used the search. Have been reading Esato for quite a while and know the seniors don't like to answer old questions

Anyhow, I can't seem to find the answer on the search. The question is, (sorry if this is silly) :

Does an upgrade of software erase everything on the phone?? (pics, ringtones, counters etc)

I sent my t39m for upgrade recently and when it came back all the pics, ringtones are still there. Does this mean the service centre didn't upgrade it? The SW version is R3A 022.

Please help. Thanks. [addsig]

No. None of my upgrades have changed any settings, background, ringtones, pictures etc. But you are adviced to back up your address book before upgrading. Roumor says that a MMS upgrade on the T68 will definitely erase all your data.

Hi there Laffen,

Yep backed it up on before I sent it in. Strange isn't it? When I had a Nokia everything was gone. No regrets changing it to a SE though. I love my phone!!

Thanks. [addsig]

Hi everyone, I am a rookie as such, so please if this question causes offence, sorry in advance.
I am on orange in the Uk and I am trying to download a logo to my t68m. i have read the faq cleared the phone cache, but nothing, it seems to download the logo then just sits there showing only the logos name, it does not even give me the option of saving the logo to background pics, even when i press yes.

Hi all... I'm new to this forum also... not much of a poster yet, but I guess I'll have a lot to say, when I 'finally' get my T68m upgraded to have MMS. Will be fun.

Look to buy the mca-20 mobile camera. Cool!

I believe the newest T68i upgrade is called R2b - 025
. All 'us' T68m users (well most of us, not having nice friends working at Ericssons or otherwise have to wait until end of may for an MMS upgrade.

Yet you should be able to get your T68i upgraded now.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
