Mobile Phone Monitor ?????????? |

I think I figured out what the problem is...
First install your Bluetooth device (dongle whatever). Make sure your PC and phone can communicate.
Then install the Mobile Phone Monitor.
Pick an application and install it on your computer, christersson.org's sendfile for example.
Start up your programs and have your phone connected to your PC and then it will recognize that your phone is connected. It only seemed to work (find the phone) when the application was running.
I hope this helps (and makes sense). This is how it worked for me tonight. Good luck!

Actually, it's pretty simple...
You have two things:
You have a connection driver for your USB->Bluetooth driver and you have the Mobile Phone program.
Now, with my USB->Bluetooth driver, which installed without a problem, I can select one of the two Serial Links on my T68i. I changed some settings, so my Serial Port 1 was connected to Com 3 on my computer.
Then I go into the Mobile Phone program and set Com 3 to "active". Then I go to the Synchronize program and start synchronizing. Then it DOES work.
Good luck! |

Hello,
I've been pulling my hair out for days trying to work out why my phone won't connect to any Sonyericsson software. I have a t68i and Windoze XP (home edition), and im trying to connect using communications suite.
Anyway, I think I've found the problem.
The program phonesettings.exe requires the following dll to run: "efsadu.dll", which is something to do with encryption in windows xp. The problem is that XP home edition dosent have this feature, nor the dll.
So I downloaded the dll (http://dll.yaroslavl.ru/index.php3?download=efsadu.dll&ver=1), and put it in my c:\windows\system32 directory. Magically, I didn't have to do anything other than this, the software connected.
I also find that with other software sometimes they won't recognize my phone. I read in another post that if you pull your battery out and put it back, then the software recognizes the phone. It's a bit crude, but it works...
Anyway I hope this helps. |
