If ur using my elf pack download the book manager is opened by long press of the shortcut key. 
If not then edit bookman.bcfg

Why does bookmanager say cant access elf due to lack of GUI? I want to end running elf but it says so. Also, the shortcut icons of activity menu isnt showing. Help! |

To stop an elf in BookManager press the C key. It says that because it doesn't have a GUI to open. Dont know about ur activity menu. Lack of heap maybe. |

Ok. But i installed heapshift patch earlier and heapshift version of tartes too. |

@bosie, have u successful using advSoftkeys??
i already get Advanced softkeys handling.vkp and have flash it to my phone, but when try AdvSoftkeys.elf it restart my phone, some people said i need the last lib, and i got it, but when try to flashing it to my phone, it can't. can u help me? |

U need to add new functions to the lib. I have and i still cant get it to work! I even tried patching the lib but to no avail.  It doesn't crash but does nothing.  I have mailed u my lib with updated functions, see if u can get any sense out of it.

i was curious with Elves ages ago.. and still curious up to now... just didnt try putting one on my phone. (K810i R8BA)
these are my queries....
should i first patch my phone with that of K810i Elf pack and with K810lib?
if i already have this libraries patched in...
how can i edit my desktop? can i edit the locations of the icons?
can i have my own icons?
just how easy or versatile editing my desktop via Elf?

Hi, yes u will need to patch a k810 elf loader of some kind. Tartes mod version is the best and if using this, patching a lib is optional. Tartes can load a lib from a .bin file which makes it easier to add new functions later. There a loads of k810 elf packs on 4shared.
StandbyMode elf is very versatile in modifying the desktop. Like adding ur own icons, moving date time, changing battery/signal etc and adding other info. |

apps i need are, K810 ELF patch (which i have found on perk11 site)
then this so called Sleepmode elf..
what about DYN_CONST? do i still need that?
i have already have some patches on my phone.. just no Elf...
will that suffice my plan?

got myself a Tartes Elf pack version 1.5? is that ok?
should i still install a K810i Elf pack patch before diving?

Yes u will need dyn. Ur best bet mate is to go on 4shared and search for k810 elfpack and download the most recent u can find. Its a little hard to help at the mo cos im at work and on mobile. Ill be home later and on pc so can help more then. Sorry.

is k800i elf different with w810? because with w810i i have many file like dyn.bin, lib.vkp, modpack.lib.vkp, but with k800i i just found 1 file? |
